Real-time Home Search Alerts

Concentric radar rings representing real-time listing alerts

We rebuilt the alert engine from the ground up so your buyers hear about the right homes first.

What’s new

When a new listing matches a buyer’s saved search, RealScout now sends the alert in near real-time instead of on the old hourly batch. For fast-moving markets, that head start is often the difference between a showing and a “sorry, it’s already pending.”

  • Instant match notifications delivered by email and push within seconds of a listing going active
  • Agent activity feed so you can see exactly which alerts fired for which buyers, and follow up while interest is hot
  • Smarter de-duplication — buyers no longer get pinged twice when a listing is re-posted across MLSs

Also shipped

Improvements

  • Alert emails now include the full photo carousel and a one-tap Schedule a tour button.
  • Saved searches with wide criteria are batched more intelligently to avoid inbox fatigue.

Faster listing sync

Listing data is the heart of RealScout, so we rebuilt the pipeline that keeps it fresh.

What’s improved

New listings and status changes now propagate to buyer searches in minutes, not the better part of an hour — up to 5× faster than before.

In fast-moving markets, that head start is often the difference between a showing and a “sorry, it’s already pending.” Your buyers are among the first to see a new home, not the last.

Also shipped

Improvements

  • Reduced background sync load, so large brokerages see snappier dashboards during peak morning hours.

Fixes

  • Fixed price-drop notifications occasionally showing the previous price.
  • Corrected square-footage rounding that mismatched some MLS source records.
  • Resolved an issue where withdrawn listings could briefly reappear in saved-search results.
  • Fixed timezone drift on "new today" listing badges for agents outside US/Pacific.

Buyer activity digest emails

Buyers don’t always log in — so this week we brought the activity to them.

What’s new

Every buyer can now receive a weekly activity digest: a single email that rounds up the homes in their saved searches that saw a price drop, went pending, or just came on the market.

  • Keeps quieter buyers engaged between logins, with a clear reason to jump back in
  • Each home links straight into their Home Search, so a reply or a tour request is one tap away
  • Fully opt-in per buyer, and it respects the send-time preferences you’ve already set

Also shipped

Improvements

  • Added a bulk-tag action so you can label a group of leads in one step.

Fixes

  • Fixed a case where notification preferences didn't save on the first try.
  • Resolved an issue where saved-search emails could send twice during MLS catch-up.

A redesigned agent dashboard

Abstract layout of dashboard cards and a bar chart

The agent dashboard is the first thing you see each morning, so we redesigned it around a simple question: who should I follow up with today?

What’s new

  • Engagement spotlight — buyers who viewed, favorited, or shared a home in the last 24 hours rise to the top
  • Today’s opportunities card surfaces price drops and new matches across your entire database
  • A faster, lighter layout that loads in a fraction of the time and adapts cleanly to tablet and mobile
  • One-click jump from any buyer straight into their Home Search and activity timeline

We’re rolling this out to all accounts over the next two weeks. No action needed — your data and saved views carry over automatically.

Also shipped

Improvements

  • The global search bar now jumps straight to a buyer, saved search, or listing as you type.

Fixes

  • Fixed a scroll-position jump when returning to the dashboard from a buyer profile.

Week of June 1

Another quiet week — a steady round of speedups and fixes, no headline feature.

Improvements

  • Buyer profile pages load noticeably faster — we trimmed the initial payload by about 40%.
  • Email digests now group listings by neighborhood for easier skimming.
  • The activity timeline shows relative timestamps ("2h ago"), with the exact time on hover.

Fixes

  • Resolved duplicate push notifications on iOS when a listing updated twice in quick succession.
  • Fixed CSV export dropping the agent notes column for some accounts.

Week of May 25

No big launches this week — just a round of upgrades and fixes across the app.

Improvements

  • Saved searches now support multiple price bands, so you can track a buyer's stretch budget alongside their target range.
  • The mobile app remembers your last-used filters when you reopen a search.
  • Listing photo galleries now preload the next image, so swiping through a home feels instant.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where archived leads occasionally reappeared in the active pipeline after a sync.
  • Corrected a rare case where the map view re-centered when applying a filter.

SAML single sign-on for brokerages

Larger brokerages asked for a single, secure way to manage agent access — so we shipped SAML 2.0 single sign-on.

What’s new

  • SAML 2.0 SSO with support for Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace
  • Just-in-time provisioning so agents get the right access automatically on first login
  • Centralized offboarding — deactivate an agent in your IdP and their RealScout access is revoked immediately

Security

  • Sessions now honor your identity provider’s MFA and session-length policies
  • Added an admin audit log for sign-in events

SSO is available on Enterprise plans. Reach out to your account manager to enable it for your brokerage.

Also shipped

Improvements

  • Admins can now export the team roster to CSV from the settings page.

Fixes

  • Fixed a redirect loop that could occur after signing out on shared computers.
